Striim 3.9.6 documentation

Configuring HTTP and HTTPS for the web UI

To support HTTPS, Striim needs a certificate created by the Java keytool command.

Once the certificate is in Striim's environment, configure the following options in startUp.properties:

property

default

comments

HttpEnabled

true

set to false to turn off HTTP

HttpsEnabled

true

set to false to turn off HTTPS

HttpsKeystorePath

./keystore.jks

path to the certificate created by keytool, for example, /opt/Striim/keystore.jks

HttpsKeystorePassword

the keystore password (storepass value) specified when running keytool

HttpsKeystoreManagerPasswrod

the key password (keypass value) specified when running keytool or, if it was not specified, the storepass value

By default, Striim supports both HTTP and HTTPS connections for the web UI, on ports 9080 and 9081, respectively. You may disable either or both. If you disable both, the only access will be via the command-line console.
